* Celebrities And TMZ *
If you are anything like me, you like to catch celebrities
at their best and their worst. What do you do though if magazines like The
Star and The National Enquirer do nothing but bore you? You can do what I
do, and that is turn to TMZ.
TMZ has quickly become a main source for catching up with
celebrity news. You can think of it as celebrity gossip meets semi-twisted
humor. TMZ TV is on 5 days a week with the latest news on celebrities
captured from the night before. The show itself features either pictures
submitted or video captured by TMZ and occasionally by 'rogue'
photographers/videographers, followed by brief comments and commentary from
the staff at TMZ. The format is very fast paced and entertaining, often
poking fun and making celebrities more 'real' (hence their tagline "You make
them stars. We make them real"). The show is extremely well known even
amongst celebrities, who often add their own off-beat comments about being
featured on TMZ and 'calling out' to various members of the TMZ staff. TMZ's
website also is highly regarded as the most up-to-date source for celebrity
news, and is in a great looking format that is easy to navigate and
entertaining, with video, pictures, and stories that can keep you glued to
your screen for hours on end.
You have a lot of choices when you want to catch up with
celebrity news. You can stick with the boring sources like The Star and The
National Enquirer, or you can do what I do and enjoy the new, exciting
source for celebrity news. You can check out TMZ online at http://www.tmz.com
and you can also check there to find out where and when TMZ TV is available
in your area (here in Chicago, it's currently on Fox at 4:30AM, 5:30 PM and 11:35
PM).
