* Liquidation Sales *
One of the biggest 'signs of the times' is something that
used to be a once in a great while circumstance... there have been a huge
amount of liquidation sales going on, and it doesn't seem to be ending
anytime soon.
Now I don't know about you, but I am constantly looking for
bigger, better deals, and for me, this is a great time as a consumer. Yes,
it is sad that these sales are not gimmicks but are required due to so many
companies going through bankruptcy and the like. I am, however, an
opportunist in this regard. I look at these liquidation sales as a prime
opportunity to replenish my stock for selling as well as to acquire some
great merchandise that are now more reasonably priced for my tastes. The
best part of all is that it isn't limited to one line of merchandise; it has
been occurring in a huge plethora of items, from stereo systems to furniture
to software and everything in-between. If I don't take advantage of these
liquidation sales, other people will, and I'll be the one kicking myself in
the rear later for it.
It's a sad fact that a true 'sign of the times' is a LOT of
companies having liquidation sales due to bankruptcy and other financial
problems, but I am looking at it from an opportunistic point of view. After
all, these liquidation sales are a great way to save some major
money while still getting great merchandise, and in these 'economically
trying' times, isn't that what matters? Now get out there and take advantage
of all these sales!
