* Selling As A Clickbank Affiliate *
There a lots of ways to make money online, from selling on
eBay to paid to read and paid to click programs. One way that eludes a lot
of people though is selling information products as a Clickbank Affiliate.
Now, in case you aren't familiar with Clickbank, the 'gist'
is it's a website that hosts a huge source of information product offers.
You can find literally thousands of offers, and you can join and become a
joint venture partner with the people that have their products listed there.
You get a percentage of each sale, the person owns the information product
gets the rest, and a portion of each sale goes to Clickbank. It's really a
great and organized way to make money online... but it seems a lot of people
claim you can't make any money there. After checking out how they are
selling the items, I can pretty much see why they aren't selling much as a
Clickbank affiliate. A good part of the problem I keep seeing coming up is what I've talked about on here
before... they aren't standing out from the crowd
(http://www.your-new-clubhouse.com/standing_out_from_the_crowd_rant).
Another thing I noticed is that if I asked the affiliate questions about a
particular information product they were selling, they could only provide me
with the exact same information that is in the sales letter. I then would
ask if they were promoting any other products, and some of the affiliates
were promoting dozens of them... any questions I had about a particular
product was met with the same information from the sales letters YET
AGAIN! Apparently, they didn't buy a single product they were
promoting, they were just taking the word of the owner of the product; that
can mean certain death to your sales rates. If you promote a product, it
should be one that you personally know is a good product... last year, there
was a very high selling product/service on Clickbank that ended up being
blacklisted, and do you know why? The product promised way more than it
could deliver, and was junk, though the sales letter and the 'packaging'
were very nice and very effective; the product had over 85%
refund/chargeback rate.
There are millions of dollars to be made by selling as a
Clickbank affiliate, BUT you have to do it right. You need to be unique in
your approach, and do try to buy at least one of the products you're
promoting... if you can't provide any more information than what is in the
sales letter, I won't buy from you. If I have a question, you should be able
to answer it, not just bluff your way through it. If you want to learn more
about Clickbank, you can check out their website at http://www.clickbank.com .
