If you do any affiliate marketing online, you may realize that you are not alone. In fact, you are probably competing with hundreds if not thousands of other affiliate marketers... so how do you get someone to buy from you?

 

 

It's actually not as difficult as most people think to get someone to buy a product from you... buy so many people just don't put much effort into it. The main trick in your arsenal should be one thing... standing out from the crowd. You have to realize that at least 98% of affiliate marketers are using the exact same sales page, with the same graphics, same 'promises', and usually they end up with the same result. One of the main things that clinches the sale for the other 2% is that they don't use the same things as the others. If you've ever been on multiple lists, you've probably seen the same product being pitched to you on it's launch day... keen eyes would have noticed subtle differences though. A great trick that is used is that each affiliate marketer will offer their own personal bonuses if you purchase through them. They may use the exact same sales page for you to buy from, but they will tell you things like 'if you buy from me, I'll offer you a discount' or 'if you buy from my link, you'll get X amount of e-books free'. What they have effectively done is made the initial offer better than it was, AND they also help stand out from the crowd by offering you things you won't get elsewhere. If you market your products through traffic-exchanges, don't use the same splash pages as everyone else... create your own and put a small picture of yourself and your name on there. You don't want to be like everyone else, you want to be in that top 2% that makes money online don't you? You need to stand out. Simple as that.

 

 

I understand that there are a lot of affiliate marketers out there. I also understand that MOST will not make much if any money. Many will blame the economy. Most will blame the product.
